First and foremost, Bob loved his family, and was always willing to do whatever was asked of him for any of them and was a dedicated husband, father, and brother. He enjoyed family reunions. He was a lover of all animals, and this passion led to his employment for many years at the Bangor Humane Society. He enjoyed fishing and camping and just being outdoors tending to his many gardens or sitting in his screenhouse. He loved reading and art. His family and many friends remember his sense of humor, playing Skip-Bo, the Eagles club and many pool tournaments. He was loved and will be missed dearly, especially by his wife Tammy.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tammy; five children Vicky-Jo, Michael, James, Dean and Leisa; step children Debra Dowling, John Dowling Jr., and Fern Dowling; Grandchildren Gavin Spellman, Brycelyn Wilson, Nylaina Wilson, Takquan Parks, and a special granddaughter, who was raised as a daughter Alexzandera O’Clair; sister Geraldine Wright; close friends Bill Kellum and Evelyn Dowling; many nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by an infant son Andrew, brother Dana O’Clair, and sisters Irene Theis and Etta Fowler.
