OLD TOWN—Glenn Alan Dickey, 68, died peacefully December 27, 2019 from complications from a brief illness. He was born March 5, 1951 in Waterville a son of Alan and Etta (Robinson) Dickey.
Glenn was a life member of the NMLRA and NRA and enjoyed shooting black powder rifles, hunting, fishing, and primitive rendezvous camping around the country. He was employed as a salesman at Dorr’s Equipment for 16 years and was the farm manage of Whitter Farm, University of Maine, for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Patty; two sons Kevin Dickey and his wife Paula and Sean Dickey and his wife Tammy; three grandchildren Ben, Mason and Trinity Dickey; two step granddaughters Kimberly Pratt and her partner Dustin Umlaugh and Casey Pratt; one great grandchild Dalton; two sisters Sue Ford and her husband James and Marcia French and her husband Gary; “adopted” daughter Rachel Casey; several nieces and nephews. HE was predeceased by his parents and in-laws Clarence and Natalie Wilson.
Per his request there will be no formal services.
