OLD TOWN—Thomas “Tom” Watson, 83, beloved husband of 62 years to Donna (Baillargeon) Watson, died May 6, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born May 14, 1937 in Houlton a son of Kenneth E. and Mary C. (Bohan) Watson.
Tom was a member of Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town where for many years he faithfully served as an usher and Eucharistic Minister. Tom retired for the US Postal Service following 30 years of service. He had a talent for anything mechanical, enjoyed buying and selling tractors, and anything else, during retirement. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his four children Donna Marie Wacome and her husband Don of Sidney, Cathy Dunn and her husband Phil of Old Town, Mike Watson and his wife Pam Mayo-Watson of Hermon, Bob Watson and his wife Nancy of Presque Isle; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sisters Diane Bubar and her husband Robert, Mary Noyes and her companion David Grosekemper. He was predeceased by two brothers Robert and Wallace Hamilton and a sister Ruth Barker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date.
