J. Michael Boyle Sr.

OLD TOWN - J. Michael Boyle, 60, went to join his family in heaven June 27, 2010. He was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Bangor, a son of Elmer Louis Sr. and Virginia G. (Meader) Boyle. Mike lived for his family and all the family times shared together. He was a member of UA Local 321 Pipefitters. Mike was a 1970 graduate of Bucksport High School. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Faye; two children, Heidi Plourde and her husband, Jeffrey, of Old Town and J. Michael Boyle Jr. and his girlfriend, Tammy Smith, of Glenburn; three grandchildren, Keegan, Kaiden and Kameron Plourde; three siblings, E. Louis Boyle Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Old Town, Linda Senecal and her husband, Adrien, of Dover, N.H., and Paula Thomas and her husband, Gary, of Holden; nieces, Shelly Reese and her husband, Alan, and their children, Alan John, Jennifer Greenier and her husband, Zachary, and Sherry Turgeon and her family; nephews, E. Louis Boyle III and his wife, Diane, and their daughter, Riley, William and Michael Senecal, and their families; and a sister-in-law, Helen Buzzell and her husband, Lloyd, and their children, Bill, Bruce and Mark, and their families. Mike was predeceased by his parents. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday at East Bucksport United Methodist Church with pastor Peter Remick officiating. Burial will be after at Hillside Cemetery, East Bucksport.
