Milford, ME, James William Grindle, 73, peacefully passed away April 30 surrounded by family at his home in Milford, Maine. He was born in 1947 in Bangor, the son of Kenneth and Margaret Grindle. Until his retirement, he was the HVAC supervisor at the University of Maine. He adored time spent with his family and friends and all of his fur babies. He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He enjoyed planning projects such as greenhouses, rabbitries, landscaping and mostly helping friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife Bonita (Parent) Grindle, having celebrated 54 years of marriage last September, two sons, Matthew Grindle of Milford, and Kenneth and his wife Carrie of Bradley. Four grandchildren, Andrew Grindle and partner, Mikayla Ethier, Abby Grindle, John Grindle, and Megan Grindle. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Allison, Khloe, and James Grindle. And three very special friends, Jay Shorette, Dale Michaud and Kevin Chessa. A heartfelt thank you to the Hospice nurses, in particular, Nurse Janice.
