

OLD TOWN—James A. Livi, 72, died December 15, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 25, 1946 in West Haven, CT the son of Gino and Yola Livi.
Jim grew up in West Haven, CT and became a New York sports fan following the Giants, Mets, and Rangers. He loved all sports and participated in fantasy football, baseball and hockey, followed UMaine athletics and UConn Women’s basketball. He was detailed oriented and spent the majority of his working career as an office manager. Above all else, Jim was a family man. He loved his family deeply, enjoyed being at home with those he loved, including his pets, and especially his constant companion Peebles.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Carmel Blankenship-Livi; two children Ben Livi and Theresa Pichulo and her husband Edward; three step children Macie Cote and her husband Michael, Roger Blankenship and Matthew Blankenship; three grandchildren Stephen, Anastacia, and Samantha Bradley; sister Jean Delucia and her husband Dave.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends may call 6-8PM Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30AM Friday at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
