Old Town- Jeanne Theresa (Roy) Dupuis, 90, wife of the late Joseph Benjamin Dupuis died October 10, 2018, at a local hospital after a short illness. She was born November 6, 1927 in Old Town, a daughter of Ernest and Yvonne (Sirois) Roy.
She worked at the family owned Roy Brothers Garage for 22 years and then worked at the Old Town Public Library until her retirement. She enjoyed spending all her summers at Pushaw Lake at the camp built by her father in 1940. She passed on her love for the lake onto her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Dupuis and his wife, Susan; two daughters, Sue Hamlin and her husband, Mark, and Sandra Thames and her husband, Kellon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Roy of Cape Coral, FL; and brother, Linwood Roy and his wife, Betty, of Sedgwick. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; and a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Immediately following the service, all are invited to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Memorial contributions may be made to Parish of the Resurrection, 429 Main St., Old Town.
