John A Lawson Jr.

MILFORD—JohnA. Lawson Jr., 67, died January 30, 2014 at his residence. He was born October 25, 1946 in Old Town a son of John A. Sr and Beatrice E. (Grey) Lawson.

John was employed by Diamond International, Old Town Canoe, and Old Town Shoe. He was a huge Elvis Presley fan and even visited Graceland.

He is survived by a son Mike Lawson and his wife Leslie of East Millinocket, a daughter Jennifer Taylor and her husband Stanley of Otisfield; a grandson Andrew Lawson, granddaughter Victoria Taylor; eight sisters Patricia Lavin of Casco, Carole Robertson and her husband Phil of Greenbush, Joyce Kerns of Old Town, Marietta Lawson of Greenfield, Faline Badger of Greenfield, Valerie Getchell and husband Clint of Milford, Lorelei Kennedy and her husband Garry of Old Town, Crystal Curtis and husband Ben of Milford; 3 brothers Stuart Lawson of Old town, Hilbert Anderson of Milford, Harley Anderson and his wife Laura of Milford; many nieces and nephews; and close friends Jimmy, Hermie, and Joey. He was predeceased by a sister Cheryl Beatrice and three brothers Peter Lawson, Paul Heath, and David Heath.

Friends may call 1-3PM Tuesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Spring burial will be at Lawndale.
