

OLD TOWN—Joseph “Ben” Benjamin Dupuis,92, husband of Jeanne (Roy) Dupuis, died March 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1925 in Old Town, a son of Benjamin and Minnie (Boudreau) Dupuis.
He proudly served with the 10th Mountain Division, US Army, during WWII and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Ben had a great love for snow skiing and water skiing and he passed this love and passion to his children and grandchildren. He proudly watched his children and grandchildren participate in any of their various activities.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne; son Stephen Dupuis and his wife Susan; two daughters Sue Hamlin and her husband Mark, Sandra Thames and her husband Kellon; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; eight brothers and one sister.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life 11-1pm Saturday March 31, 2018 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted later in the spring at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
