Old Town- Joshua passed away after a brave three-year battle with cancer on October 28th with his wife Jessica Lee Doucette, and their son Brodi at his side. Joshua was born on June 6, 1975; the son of Janet and Cyril "Fran" Arasate Doucette. Joshua enjoyed many sports which included snowboarding, fishing, archery, hunting, and paintball. He was known as one of the area's best drummers and played in many metal bands.
He was employed for a short time at LaBree's Bakery, as a painter for Sullivan's Automotive in Old Town for many years, and JSI in Milo, where he established many continuing friendships, and was lastly employed by Town Fair Tire in Bangor until his health declined.
Joshua is survived by his wife of twenty-three years Jessica, and sons Brodi and Markus, along
with his parents Jan and Fran; his sister Jillian Dupuis and her husband Chris, their daughters Carsyn and Mallory who lovingly referred to Joshua as Uncle Kitty; his sister Kristie, her partner Tom Larson and her children Jordan and Faith; sister-in-law, Jackie Lee; brothers-in-law Ricky
Lee and his fiancé Karen, their children Jordyn, Ethan and Lucas; Jamie Stoddard and his son Zane; his Grandmother, Bunny Gendreau; his mother-in-law Kathy Chaisson, and father-in-law Rick Lee; many aunts and uncles and cousins. He had an extended family in NH; SAS Merrimack
Valley Paintball, who gave him the tag name of "Grimm." They have named one of the field sections after him "Grimm Town." His team is named the "Silent Assassin Squad." He and his family have been loved and supported by this paintball family of sports men and women for
two years. Joshua will be deeply missed by his family and his many very close friends.
Joshua was predeceased by his grandparents Leo and Doris Doucette, Sixto Arasate, S. Andrew Dunn, Weymouth and Rita Nutter, and Leo Gendreau.

By Joshua's request, there will be no formal funeral. The family wishes to invite his community of family and friends to a Celebration of his life at the Old Town Elks Lodge 290 Fourth St. from 6 - 10 p.m. on Friday, November 9th, 2018.
