Kenneth R Holmes

Kenny graduated from Old Town High School. He worked as an automotive mechanic at several Bangor car dealerships for many years. Kenny was a hard working yet simple man and enjoyed spending time with his daughter, fishing with his brother, cruising around in his Monte Carlo, and playing pool. He always looked forward to the annual summer visit of his uncle from New Jersey.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Maria P. Holmes of Bangor; his mother Anna Holmes of Milford; sister Donna Dalton and her husband Mark of Milford; five brothers Danny Holmes and his wife Jody of TX, Richard Holmes of Milford, Edward Holmes and his wife Judy of Greenbush, Victor Holmes and his wife Kelly of Greenbush, and Andy Holmes of Milford; uncle Dexter Stary and his companion Stephanie Pulsinelle of NJ; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Doanld, maternal grandparents Victor and Clara Stary.

A Celebration of Kenny’s life will begin at 6PM Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town where a memorial reception will follow the service. Notes of condolences may be left at www.birminghamfuneralhome.com
