

Pelzer, SC and Old Town - Kim M. DeRoche, 57, died at Greenwood Hospice House, SC, on Monday October 23, 2017 following a ten year courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 15, 1960 in Bangor a daughter of Joseph and Doreen (Grant) DeRoche.
Kim was a graduate of Old Town High School class of 1978 and Greenville (SC) Technical College with a degree in accounting. She was employed as a junior accountant at James H. Stuckey, Jr. PC.
She loved Maine lobster and spending time at the beach and loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was an animal lover including her cats Manny, Tigger and Bones and dog Princess.
She enjoyed riding her Harley with her brother.
She is survived by her mother Doreen DeRoche of Old Town; brother Tony DeRoche and his wife June of Milford; niece Stephanie, nephew Tony Jr., step niece Desiree; several grand nieces and nephews Riley, Ayden, Dylan, Beckett; good friends in SC Joyce and Shannon Christian, Shirley Cordell, Stephen Solesbee, Roe Whitley, Dot and Loren Blair, Debbie Bloss and dear Maine friends Rick and Karen Jellison.
Predeceased by her father Joseph DeRoche, and aunt and uncle Kenneth and Lucille Grant and aunt Martha Grant.
A funeral service will be conducted 11AM Wednesday at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery Bradley.
