Loretta Ann Parent

MILFORD--Loretta Ann (Cote) Parent, 69, died August 22, 2013 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Old Town October 6, 1943 a daughter of Leo and Bernice (Peters) Cote. Loretta enjoyed shopping, collecting panda bears, playing games on her ipod, following the New England Patriots and watching and supporting University of Maine Cheering. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Dana Parent; sons Kevin Parent and his wife Wendy of Milford, Richard Parent and his wife Linda of Old Town; a daughter Melinda Kenny and her husband Peter of Milford; five grandchildren Michael, Anthony and Christopher Parent, Mikaela and Keely Kenny; two step-grandchildren Stacey Walters and Kyle Walters; “granddaughter” Meisha Nickerson; extended family members Carol Cote, Sandy Torrey, Brent and AnnMarie Clement, Janet Clement, Joel Clement, Charmaine and Harold Morrison, Pauline Ellis, and many other extened members. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter Belinda Parent, brother Royal Cote, special cousins Bill Clement and Hope Clement. Friends are invited to call 5-7PM Wednesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Burial will be private at the Cardville Cemetery.
