OLD TOWN - Lorraine D. Beaulieu, 78, died peacefully October 19, 2018, at her home in Old Town following a long illness. She was born September 1, 1940, a daughter of Francis and Marion (Pelletier) Pelletier.
She enjoyed times spent planting flowers around her home, taking long walks on the bike path, and strolling around Bar Harbor. She especially enjoyed taking the Bluenose ferry to Nova Scotia with her husband Paul.
She is survived by children Dean Beaulieu and his wife Kim of Brewer, Paula Beaulieu and her partner Dan Shannon of Brewer, and David Beaulieu of Maryland; grandchildren Bryan Beaulieu of Brunswick, Emily Shannon of Georgia, and Aaron Beaulieu of Brewer; brother Ronald Pelletier and his wife Carolyn; and, nephew Wayne Pelletier of Old Town.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Orono. All are invited to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship following the service.
