Marie Anne Stormann

OLD TOWN - Marie Anne Stormann, 75, died peacefully April 26, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born April 7, 1936, in Old Town, a daughter of Albert and Alice (Dionne) Lagasse. Marie loved camping and traveling the East Coast down to Virginia and Pennsylvania. She and her husband made many wonderful friends during these trips. She enjoyed time spent with family and was extremely proud of her grandchildren, attending many of their respective events. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and Old Town Senior Citizens. Marie is survived by her son, Jerry Stormann and his wife, Suzanne, of Milford; two grandchildren, Melissa Stormann of Old Town and Jeremy Stormann of Brighton, Mass.; two brothers, Albert "Buck" LeGasse and James LaGasse of Dexter; two sisters, Yvonne Willette and Adeline "Con" St. Louis, both of Old Town; special aunt, Lucienne Clouiter; special niece, Theresa Hart; special friends, Rudolph and Virginia Lavoie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fenton Stormann, in 2000; three brothers, Rudolph "Pete," Morris and Leo "Pat"; and a sister, Lillian LeBreton. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Westgate Manor for the wonderful care given to Marie. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
