

Marilyn was born July 23, 1939 in Old Town. She was raised by her Grandmother Goldie Miller. She attended Old Town High School, Class of 1957. After high school she joined the U.S. Army, WAC earning the rank of PFC 3.
In January of 1962, she married Richard C. Coulombe in Old Town, ME. Together they raised seven children. In addition to being a wife and mother, she worked as a CNA at EMMC, a past president of the Old Town Emblem club BPOE # 1287. She most enjoyed family gatherings, crafts and playing games on her computer.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard C. Coulombe; their children, Deanna (Mike) Millett, Dawn (Dan) Anderson, Sherrie (Mark) Ellis, Ricky Coulombe, Thom Coulombe, Shawn Coulombe, and daughter-in-law Lisa Coulombe; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her sister, Gerri DeRoche and brothers, Ronnie and Butch.
Marilyn was predeceased by one son, Mark Coulombe; granddaughter, Bridget Anderson; her sister, Marie Robichaud; brothers, Joe and Bobby.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 300 US Route 2, Old Town, Maine, with a celebration of life to follow at the Old Town Elks Club, 37 fourth street, Old Town, Maine.,
In lieu of Flowers, donations in Marilyn’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in honor of her great grandson Zachary.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva home hospice for the care and services provided to Marilyn and her family.
