Michael Field

GREENFIELD TWP—Michael P. Field, 65, died May 2, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born July 1, 1957 in Old Town a son of Harold Sr and Bernice (Ouellette) Field.

Mike will be remembered as a kind and giving person, always willing to lend a hand. He was employed at R. Leon Williams for 20 years and at Crescent Lumber. He was a volunteer driver for PenQuis. He loved his grandchildren dearly, enjoyed fishing with his grandson and hunting. He was a talented builder and could build almost anything. Mike loved to play cribbage with anyone willing to play against him. He liked to joke around and have a good time, his great sense of humor made, many laugh especially times with his best friends Dave Pepper, Scott Mansur, Bruce Johnson and Mike Gilbert. He enjoyed his “moose rides” and calling in moose. He was always the winner caller on many radio promotions.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Barbara (Pepper) Field; two daughters Victoria Field and April Field; two grandchildren Wesley Field and Matty Spofford; two brothers John Field and Harold Field Jr., Four sisters Donna Gilbert, Janice Ross, Shelia Tardiff, and Lisa Farrell; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Rose Field.

Services will be held later in the summer.
