Michael served in the US Army and was stationed in Japan. He was employed in construction the majority of his life. He enjoyed playing cribbage and doing large puzzles and time spent camping on the Islands and fiddle-heading.
Michael is survived by good friends Barry, Debbie and Barbra and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by a dear friend Vincent Norwood, sisters Cynthia Bassett Robinson and Merlene Couturier and a brother Kenneth Paul.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted in the spring at Tribal Cemetery.
