

Bangor—Muriel E St. Louis, 85, died April 13, 2011 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born April 26, 1925 in Brookton a daughter of George W and Lydia (Grass) Knights.
Muriel was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an amazing homemaker and loved to cook and knit. Muriel enjoyed watching her grandchildren after school. She and her husband Norman enjoyed camping, traveling, and wintered in Florida for 14 years.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Norman St. Louis of Bangor; two daughters Joan St. Louis of Old Town and Jeannie Seamans and her fiancé Harry Pratt of Holden; step-daughter Cheryl Williams and her husband Lee of Millinocket; 8 grandchildren Janet Sabatino, Michael St. Louis, Brian St. Louis, Amber King, Crystal Iannone, Kevin Gulliver, Jeff Gulliver, and Terri-Anne McKinley; several great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Rose Gulliver; three sisters Florence Potter, Charlotte MacIntosh, and Eunice Hafford; three brothers Roger, Rodney and James Knights; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband George Robert Gulliver in 1965; a son Terry Gulliver, step-daughter Deborah Pickle, one sister Ruth Percy, 2 brothers Curtis and Ralph.
Friends may call 6-8 PM at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town where a funeral service will be conducted 11AM Saturday. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
