

Old Town - Sylvia Mary (Fraser) Randall Weatherbee, 82, passed away after a brief illness on Oct. 3, 2011 at a Bangor area hospital. She was born in Old Town on Sept. 23, 1929, the daughter of Charles and Juliette Fraser. Sylvia obtained her G.E.D. in her 60’s. She was a devoted wife and homemaker who loved board games, card games, and crossword puzzles.
Sylvia is survived by her six children, David Randall and his wife Phyllis of MO, Linda Hamel and her husband David of Milford, Chris Randall of Old Town, Scott Randall and his wife Kathryn of Bangor, Eric Randall and his wife Michele of Dover, NH, and Roxanne Randall of Old Town; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother Phillip “Butch” Fraser and his wife Beverly of AZ; two sister-in-laws, Juanita Fraser of Alton, and Nellie Fraser of Milford, CT; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, Kathy Mailing.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia is predeceased by her first husband, George H. Randall, Jr.; second husband Searle A. Weatherbee; son Mark C. Randall; granddaughter Desiree Randall; three brothers Ronald Fraser, Gerald Fraser, and Daniel Fraser; and one sister, Gloria White.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Friday, Oct.7, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Old Town.
