Wesley A. Gerrish

Wesley “Wes” A Gerrish, 48, of Old Town passed away on December 28th, 2023 with loved ones by his side. Wes was born in Warwick, Rhode Island to Wesley Gerrish and Dorothy Gerrish on November 25th, 1975.

When he was younger Wes liked to have fun and was sometimes known to be up to no good with his cousin Thale. Wes graduated from Penquis Valley High School in 1994. As he got older Wes enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was a lover of all animals, even snakes. Wes was a kind man and had a big heart.

Wes is survived by his mother Dot Gerrish and her significant other Marty Douglas, his son Ian Gerrish and significant other Lyric Melody, his daughter Hailey Gerrish, sister Marylynn Moninger and her husband Ralph Moninger, step-mother Irene Gerrish, Step-sister Lynn Klein, nieces Danielle Roberts, Luka Moninger, Lacey Haight, his nephews CJ Roberts, Dillon Haight and Devon Haight, his girlfriend Roberta Dunham, special aunts Helen Pennington, Belinda Shepard and Cynthia Brackett, his uncle Mike King, the mother of his children Liz Lemmon and her mother Carol Lemmon, special friends Mike and Kati Wickett, Philip Woodard and Shannon Severance as well as several special cousins and other family members.

Wes was predeceased by his father Wesley Gerrish, grandparents Geraldine and Herbert Ward, Helen and Charles Gerrish, and Elijah Bragdon who Wes thought of as one of his own kids.

Services for Wes will be held at the Marion C. Cook School in Largrange on January 27th, 2024 at 1:00
