Alice Nadine Damron, 77, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2024. Mrs. Damron was born on October 25, 1946 in Memphis, TN, but grew up in Oak Grove, LA. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in education from Memphis State University and taught at all levels for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Damron was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Hope Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed watching SEC football (especially the Alabama Crimson Tide), playing piano, listening to Christian music, and spending time with her family. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Grandma Nadine” to her grandchildren. Mrs. Damron was preceded in death by her parents, James Hulon and Dorothy Nadine Patrick; and a brother, Jimmy Patrick. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alvin Gene Damron; son, Alan Damron (Vicki); daughter, Shannon Grissom (Jason); son, Chris Damron; grandchildren: Taylor Damron, Clayton Smith, II, Emily Grissom, Adah Grissom, Autumn Grissom, Jackson Grissom, and Jagger Grissom; two brothers, David Patrick (Brenda) and Tim Patrick (Ellen); sister-in-law, Hope Patrick; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 3-4 pm with a funeral service to begin at 4:00 pm.
