Alice Davis

Alice was a faithful and devoted member of Barton Community Church, where she loved her church family dearly and served with a willing heart.

She was also a proud and dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Alice served faithfully as Secretary for over 30 years. Her leadership and devotion led her to serve as Worthy Grand Matron of the State.

Alice will be remembered for her strong faith, her servant’s heart, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

Alice leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Charles Davis; three children, Allen Davis (Lori), Tony Davis, Lisa Malmede (Terry). She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Amber (Michael), Trey (Danielle), Paige (Chuy), and six great-grandchildren: Hailey, Rylan, Aubrey, Delta Kate, Taylor, and Mary Grace.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at Barton Community Church, 3229 Hwy 309 Byhalia, MS 38611. Burial will follow at Barton Cemetery.
