Bailey Kimber Sutherlen

Bailey Kimber Sutherlen, 12, of Southaven, MS, passed away June 5, 2019. Bailey, a student at DeSoto Central Middle School, was full of life and passion and enjoyed playing sports including softball and volleyball, which she played competitively. Bailey was a member of the DeSoto Central Volleyball team and was active in the Memphis Volleyball Academy as well. She loved the beach and everything related to the beach and she especially enjoyed spending time with her brother, Bentley, whom she adored. Bailey was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Thomas Sutherlen. She is survived by her parents, Brad and Melissa Sutherlen, her brother, Bentley Sutherlen, her maternal grandfather, Todd Holliday, and her paternal grandmother, Patricia Sutherlen. Bailey tragically passed away with her maternal grandmother, Kimberly Holliday. The family will receive friends at a joint visitation Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9-11am and the funeral service will immediately follow at 11am, all at Getwell Church 7875 Getwell Rd., Southaven, MS 38672. Interment will follow in DeSoto Memorial Gardens.
