Barbara Allison, 92, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Mrs. Allison was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lucille Hanna; husband, C.E. “Buddy” Allison; daughter, Carol Dean; son, Gene Allison; first born grandchild, Duane Allison; sister, Betty Perkins; brother, C.L. Hanna; and sister, Sandra McLain. She is survived by her son, Steve Allison(Melanie); daughter, Lisa Bray; sister, Mary Holden; brother, Ronnie Hanna; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Mrs. Allison was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life as a homemaker to taking care of her family. She worked as a cafeteria worker for DeSoto County Schools in her younger years. In her free time, she enjoyed: gardening, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Allison was a believer in Jesus Christ and has been a member of New Prospect Baptist Church since she was saved and baptized in 1948 at the age of 19. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
