Barbara devoted 25 years to caring for the most fragile among us, serving as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Regional Medical Center in Memphis. In her free time, she was a devoted reader who loved music and loved to sing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Helen Daughtry, and by her husband, Richard Henry.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Richard Ryan Henry (Whitney) of Bartlett, TN, and Nathan Daughtry Henry (Jennifer) of Olive Branch, MS; her sisters, Patricia Butler of Olive Branch, MS, and Charlotte Pinnow of Hernando, MS; her brother-in-law, Mark Henry of Memphis, TN; and her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held for the family. A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be announced at a later date.
