Betty Jo Bowlan Benton, 79, of Olive Branch, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 22, 2011. She is survived by her son, Terry Bowlan (Judy); and two daughters, Peggy Spivey (William) and Bessie McKnatt (Walter). Betty dearly loved her six grandchildren, one being deceased, and her eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Bessie Boswell and Janie Thomas. Mrs. Benton retired from Ely & Walker and Olive Branch Printing. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, April 24, and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Blocker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
