Betty Frances Riley

Betty Francis Hadaway Riley (beloved Nana), age 87 daughter of (late) Eric and Lela Hadaway, peacefully went to be with our Lord on October 1, 2016. Born on January 21, 1929 in Memphis, Tennessee and married the (late) Robert Harold "Big Foot" Riley, on November 14, 1945.

Frances, was active in the church and her community for many years over her lifetime. She was a pillar of strength and a Godly example and will forever be cherished in the lived of her six children, she was blessed with; Robert Harold (Hal), Jr., Brenda R. Hurt (Dennis), (late) Danny Lynn, Dennis Duane (Sherrie), Cynthia Frances, and Melinda Arlee Alexander (Edward).

Her life was filled with her love of family and friends, She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, shopping, travelling, listening to gospel music, and singing. Her most often statement was, "I may not have a lot of earthly possessions, but I am the richest woman on earth, because of my children." Her faith was strong and she was a firm believer in the power of prayer. Wherever she went, whomever she met, she always left a lasting impression through her sense of humor, grace, and wonderful spirit,

She was extremely proud of her twelve grandchildren, Jessica, Marissa, Shane, Keegan, Kaleb, Kody, Halie, Dustin, Devin, Kristin, Kerstin, Tyler. Her love of family was continued even more with the blessing of fifteen great grandchildren; Swayze, (late) Kade, Bree, Brayde, Blaize, Harley, Jackson, Easton, Emmet, Layla, Ava, Landon, Lucas, Eleanor, Carter. She enjoyed and loved her extended family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as her own.
