Billy Eugene Williams, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Methodist Olive Branch. He was born to the late Richard P and Opal Williams in Memphis, TN. Bill was a member of Getwell Church and enjoyed serving the Lord. He was an avid Braves baseball fan. He loved to Deer, Rabbit, and Turkey Hunting. Bill’s favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren making memories. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Peggy Wallace Williams; three brothers, Richard Williams, David Williams, R.D. Williams, and two grandsons, Kenny Thomas and Bubba Thomas. Bill is survived by two sons, Shane Williams (Delayne), Gene Williams (Tammy); a sister, Carolyn Lewis, and brothers, Preston Williams and Terry Williams, Sr. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Graham, Hadleigh, Maggie, Kathy, and a host of great grandchildren. The family request that memorial contributions be made to Getwell Church to Good Shepherd’s Children’s Home in Tegucigalpa Honduras. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:30 with visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Getwell Church, 7875 Getwell Rd. Southaven, MS 38671. The service will be live streamed at live.getwellchurch.org. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy to all the family. As a neighbor an friend, Bill loved his family grand an great grand children. I'd see that smile on his face when he would be over checking on them. Always busy, an doing something around the place. I will miss seeing him out an about.
