

Bobby Wayne Hale, 63, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away May 22, after short battle with lung cancer. Visitation will be Thursday night from 5 to 8 PM at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS, with funeral services at 10:00 AM on Friday, 5/24, at Clearview Baptist Church in Southaven, MS.Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, CR 169, Iuka, MS, With a short funeral service will also be held at Sardis at 2:30 PM. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Inezz Hale of Booneville, MS and his brother, Don Hale of Nesbit, MS. He is survived by his wife Molly Hale, to whom he was married for 39 years, two daughters, Kellie Moore (David) of Southaven, MS, and Renea Beene (Scott) of Olive Branch; Seven grandchildren: Mollie & Makenzie Beene, Tucker Beene, and Jude Beene of Olive Branch, and Hayden Tapper, Gabriel Moore and Garrett Moore of Southaven. He is survived by one brother, William D. Hale of Southaven, MS, two sisters – Martha Rushing (Frank ) of Olive Branch, MS, and Linda Bray (Larry ) of Booneville, MS. Bobby was a veteran and a retired teamster. He drove for Greyhound Lines and Rodeway. He was a talented singer and guitar player but his greatest joy was time spent with his family.
