Bobbye Jean Youngblood Pounders, 74, of Olive Branch, MS, passed from this life Friday, October 15, 2015 at the North Delta Hospice Center in Southaven, MS. She was born in Memphis, April 29, 1941 to the late William Thurman Youngblood, Sr. and Florence Pauline Pryor Youngblood. Bobbye loved sports and was and was a Basketball player in High School, enjoyed Horseshows, Gardening and was a member of Mineral Wells Methodist Church. She was a retired Bookkeeper with Fred’s Dollar Stores. Ms. Pounders is survived by her loving partner; Coleman Evans, daughters; Wanda Pounders, Charlene Huey, Deanna Flagherty and a brother; William “Bill” Youngblood, Jr. The family will receive friends 5pm – 8pm, Friday, October 16, 2015 and 12pm – 2pm Saturday, October 17, 2015 with Funeral services at 2pm all at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blocker Cemetery.
