Brenda Sue Walton, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2020 surrounded by her family in Coldwater, MS. She was born on June 19, 1941 to the late Morris and Pansy Greene in Memphis, TN.
Brenda loved being outdoors. She raised Arabian horses and Champion Weimaraner dogs. Brenda loved to garden, fox hunt, and she was a competitive trail rider. Brenda also volunteered as an EMT. She loved the Lord and lived by her faith. Brenda was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Independence, MS.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul Thomas Walton, Jr., and two children, Christianne “Christi” Jenkins, and Paul Thomas “Tommy” Walton, III. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
