Olive Branch-Carolyn Joyce Burks Brogdon, 74, of Ingrams Mill, MS, passed away Friday, January 18, 2014. There will be a gathering of friends Tuesday, January 21 from 5-7 p.m. The service will take place Wednesday, January 22 at 2 p.m. all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place in Macedonia Cemetery in Ingrams Mill, MS. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Frances Burks; sisters Janie Roberts and Annie Ruth Mattson; son, Scott Tatum; daughter, Roxie Lynn Tatum and brother-in-law Larry Gately. She is survived by her husband, Tom Brogdon; daughter, Lisa Tatum Holt; son, Donnie Rogers; sisters, Mary Lee Perkins, Marie Gately, and Maydell Johnson; grandchildren Reanon Hughes, Larry Gaut, Lindsay Gaut, Rene’e Stokes, Cody Tatum and seven great-grandchildren.
