The Lydia Sunday School class at First Baptist Church in OB was privleged and blessed to have Carolyn as one of us. She was kind, loving, caring ... a true follower of Jesus. We will miss her so much. She had a special honesty and humor about her that endeared her to all of us. I am blessed to have called her a friend for over thirty years. In my heart, I celebrate her life and know that she is at HOME in heaven with Jesus... the place that she was made for.... she is happy, contented and at peace. May God bless and comfort her wonderful family in the difficult days ahead. Tate, Ellen and Mary Ellen, you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Lynne Davis, teacher
The Lydia Class

Dear Family,
I loved Carolyn. We had such a fun time at Northwest. I have reflected on her sweet smile over the years. Carolyn was always kind and caring and loved you, Tate, from the first day.
My deep sympathy is extended to you and your family. I know you will miss her so much. May your memories sustain you and may you have peace.
I will be praying for you.

Madolyn Ward, Ripley, MS

Carolyn was the personification of a loving Christian lady. The members of her Sunday School and Bible Study classes will miss her knowledge of God's word and her concern for everyone. Carolyn had such a lovely smile which lives on in her daughter, Ellen. Her time with us has been too short but praise God she's at peace in her heavenly home

She was a wonderful lady and Ellen you know your Mom is dancing with the angels now in heaven

Carolyn was such a precious lady....a strong Christian...always serving coffee on Sunday morning with a bright smile for everyone! She loved her family very much..a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and wife of 44 years. We in the Lydia Sunday School Class have and will miss her very much...as her family will most of all!!
