

Olive Branch - Charles Campbell, 90, passed away on November 21, 2013. There will be a gathering of friends Monday, November 25, 2013, beginning at 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. all at Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. He was a Christian who served valiantly in the five major European battles in WWII. Retiring from Sears after 39 years, he found retirement to be the “work“ he really enjoyed. Paw-paw loved helping others, sharing the vegetables from his garden and meeting other needs of family and neighbors. His service as a Scout Master of Boy Scout troop 32 in Memphis, TN and working in the children’s department at Leawood Baptist Sunday School were years he loved. He was a member at Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. His parents, Marion Lister W. Campbell and Alma Lee Campbell pre-deceased him. Annie Maxine Campbell, his first love also pre-deceased him, as did his loving second wife, Julenia Lamar Campbell. Brothers William, James, Vernon, Snip (Marion) and Tommy Joe and granddaughters, Dianna Arrowsmith and Stacy Black passed during Charles‘ life. Cherishing his memories are his brothers Robert Campbell and Larry Campbell both from Pope, MS and sister, Martha Lou Barrett of Hernando MS. He also leaves his daughters, Vicki Black and husband, Bill of Olive Branch, MS and Beverly Campbell and fiancé Gary Arrowsmith of Covington, KY; son, Alan Campbell and wife Somjet of Cheyenne, WY. Grandchildren include Trey Arrowsmith and wife Tricia of Independence, KY; Jessica Watts and husband Jarrod of Southaven, MS; Allison Calton and husband Joe of Cheyenne, WY.
