Charles “Son” Partain, 74, of Byhalia, passed away October 27, 2010 at his home. A U.S. Army veteran, he worked for 30 plus years as a machinist for Hines Machine Shop, and also attended Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Byhalia. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sheila Partain; three daughters, Paula Cochran, Dena Randall, and Tina Reece; four sons, Paul Partain, Richard Partain, Don Partain, and Larry Waldrop; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, John Edward Partain; and one half sister and four half brothers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, with funeral services Friday at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
