Olive Branch - CLAIBORNE W. SKIPWORTH, 93, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Olive Grove Assisted Living in Olive Branch, MS. As a young man, he served his country in World War II as a Private First Class in the U.S. Army. He worked and retired from Bridgestone/Firestone in Memphis, TN. Preceding him in death was his wife of 35 years, Marie. He is survived by his three children, Carl (Ann) Skipworth, Julia (Harold) Fesmire and Katherine (Warren) Wright. He is survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Museum of Biblicial History, Collierville, TN. Visitation from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 1; services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, at Brantley Funeral Home, with interment to follow in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m. Condolences may be made at
