Curtis Thompson, 90, of Byhalia MS passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and the services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. all at Emory Independent Methodist Church in Byhalia MS. Interment will take place at Emory Independent Methodist Church Cemetery in Byhalia MS. Captain Thompson was a WWII veteran of the United States Air Force where he was a pilot of a B-25 airplane. Curtis was preceded in death by his wife Mary Katherine Thompson. He is survived by his wife Shirley Thompson, and his children Betsy Payne (James), Helen Stewart (Dean), Tommy Thompson (Lorraine) and Tim Thompson (Sheila); 5 step-children and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
