Daffin Lee McElroy, 88, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 20019 surrounded by his family at Silver Creek in Olive Branch, MS. He worked in the lumber industry his entire career. Mr. McElroy's favorite pastimes were building things and he loved to travel with his wife. He was preceded in death by his wife, Octavia McElroy. Survivors include his daughter, Rita Wilson, and a son, Ron McElroy (Ruth). Family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service to immediately follow at Olive Branch Church of Christ, 9100 E Sandidge Rd. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
