Dale Thomas Johnson, 66, of Byhalia, MS passed away June 24, 2026. Dale was born on March 19, 1960, in Olive Branch, MS. He is a 1978 graduate of Olive Branch High School. He has worked for IPS as a maintenance mechanic for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a love for cars. Dale was preceded in death by his father, George Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Johnson; mother, Lucille Johnson; daughter, Katie Cooper (Donald); son, Kenneth Johnson (Tonda); daughter, Makayla Cash; son, Robert Hooper; grandchildren: Alexis, Hayden, Kensley, Waylon, Marshall, Scarlett, and Wyatt; and his brothers: Ricky Ivy, Aaron Johnson, Durrell Johnson, Donald Johnson (Twila), and Duke Johnson. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Byhalia Cemetery.
