Danny William Mitchell

Danny William Mitchell, 72, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on May 28, 2025. Danny was born on November 24, 1952, in Memphis, TN to the late Lester and Mildred Mitchell. He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. Most of his working life, he was a vendor for Jackson Cookie and then Little Debbie until his retirement. In his free time, you could find him watching westerns and the Three Stooges. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on his cars and fishing. He was a huge wrestling fan. Danny also had a love for animals, especially his cats. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 sisters. Danny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sherry Mitchell; son, Matthew Mitchell(Deborah); daughter, Janis Lepard(David); and 4 grandchildren: affectionately known as Pawpaw to Brianna & Elena Lepard and Grandpa to Abby & Carter Mitchell. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
