My sister use to cram 3 or 4 of us in her little bug and take us riding. Well one day we stopped at a store and David came out saying he got a Ding Dong and my sister said, I hope so. Lol. Her name was Clovette and David thought we said close a vent, so that's what he called her. And he would get down on his knees and chase my Mama around our house hiking his leg like he was going to pee on her and she'd scream n run. We were around 16. Great times. RIP my brother from another mother. 💜

Dave was one of the most honest, loyal friends in the world to those he loved. When my husband, Billy passed away 1 1/2 year ago, not only was he & Lori with me every step of the way but he took the time to create Billy’s urn out of a motorcycle tank which Billy would have so appreciated. As I so did. He spoke at Billy’s memorial, Billy always said there was no one he looked up to more than “Big Daddy”. I came to understand why. All you had to do was spend an hour with he & Lori & that said it all. I will so miss our deep talks. Love you my friend!

I met David in 1969. We lived in the same apartments on Kimball. We used to ride our bikes together pretending they were motorcycles and trying to be cool. We were starting to like girls. All these years later I now realize we were cool. David is now being comforted by the Lord Jesus in Paradise. I look forward to hanging out with him again someday.

David, it hurts to know I'll never get to argue with you on FB again, lol, or hear your voice. You had such a huge, soft heart. You reminded me of Jimmy Dale, you both were big teddy bears! Fly high sweet cousin, you no longer have a broken down, painful body. I love you and I will never forget the summer you turned 14 and stayed with us, beautiful memories!
