David Houston Vaughn, Sr.

David Houston Vaughn, Sr., 81, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his residence in Olive Branch, MS. David was a Junior College All American Football Player at Northwest Community College and he graduated from University of Mississippi. He retired from teaching after 37 years with the Memphis City Schools. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Janice Kay Vaughn, and his parents, Houston and Jeannie Vaughn. David is survived by three children, David H. Vaughn, Jr., Kimberly K. Sellers (A.J.), and Lisa G. Jamison (Chris) and three grandchildren, Bailey, Abby, and Aaron. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
