Dean Parker Hollowell, Sr., 72, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. Dean was born October 26, 1942 in Byhalia, Mississippi. He is survived by his kind and loving wife, Nancy Hollowell; his stepmother, Alice Hollowell; his three half-sisters, Rosemary Pennington, Patti Doddridge and Peggi Newsom; his half-brother, William McKinley; two daughters, Jennifer DeVincent (Frank), Jorja White (Andy) and his son, Parker Hollowell (Angie); his stepchildren, Nolan Baker (Jill) and Jennifer Cornwell (Todd); his grand-children, Sadie Sakellaris, Caroline, Drew and Mari-Helen White, Grey, Garrett and Isabella Hollowell, Bryce and Marlee Baker, Jewell and Carson Cornwell, Augie and Alexandria Panter. Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Margaret McKinley, his father, Eugene Douglas Hollowell, and his brother Wayne Douglas Hollowell. Dean's grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. He was greatly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, at the First Baptist Church of Olive Branch, Trevor Davis will officiate.
