Debbie Groves, 62, passed away on Sunday September 14, 2014 at Baptist Hospital. Debbie was a cherished wife, devoted mother and much loved sister and daughter. She was born on October 31, 1951 to John and Norma Woofter in Indiana. Debbie and her family moved around most of her childhood until she left for college where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Psychology as well as Elementary Education. Following college she moved to Cottontown, Tennessee to be with her family. She met, fell in love and married her husband, Charlie Groves, and they had three children. Debbie worked and excelled at many jobs throughout her life but the one she enjoyed the most was being a stay at home mom and housewife. Debbie is survived by her husband, three children and eight grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be at Whitehouse General Baptist Church in Cottontown, TN on Friday October 31, 2014 from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm.
