Dennis Michael Kratzer

Olive Branch - Dennis “Denny” M. Kratzer, 63, passed away September 21, 2015. Denny was a current resident of Olive Branch, MS, and was originally from Wilmington, OH. He was the son of Victor Roy and Wanda Young Kratzer who preceded him in death, also a stepson, Jamie Blackwell and brother-in- law, Kenneth Miller. Denny is survived by his wife, Sharon Jordan Kratzer; daughter, Sarah Kratzer; son, Robert Kratzer of Dayton, OH; stepson, Dwayne Blackwell (Stacey), granddaughters: Kelsey and Kensley Blackwell; brother, Kenneth Kratzer (Linda), and four sisters: Judy Wolfe (Richard), Sharon Miller, Debbie Hastings (Bill) and Mary Olinger (Bob). Denny’s job with KSH in Xenia, OH, where he worked for 37 years, transferred him to Olive Branch, MS. Denny was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. His passion was old cars; he was especially fond of his 1972 Chevelle SS and his grandpa’s 1946 Dodge truck that he restored. He also enjoyed camping, traveling and browsing antique malls. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, September 24, from 5-8 p.m. and funeral service on Friday, September 25, at 2 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS.
