Donald Fulghum Hungerford (Hunkie), born July 5, 1934 in Dyersburg, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Ella Frances Hungerford, his parents, Nathan Hungerford and Louise Ray, a brother, Jackie Hungerford. Mr. Hungerford was a graduate of Southside High School Class and was an outstanding athlete having participated in various sports. He was owner of Stewart Olshines and Daile in Memphis. The Hungerfords also owned The Maid Service Inc. He was formerly a member of the Civitan Club in Memphis and also served two years as President of Harding Academy Booster Club. Donald was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26th at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch from 12 to 2 pm with services starting at 2 pm. Burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.
