Doris was a graduate of Humes High School and retired from Sears Roebuck Company after 35 yrs. She also worked for Holiday Inn Select for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Stanley Mills Jr., two brothers, Albert John Burnett and Ronald Dean Burnett, as well as one sister, Alberta Burnett Compton.
She is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Burnett Oberle and Julia Burnett Latham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Salvation Army.
