Dorothy Jo Goldstein

Dorothy Jo Goldstein, 86, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Baptist East in Memphis, TN. She was born April 27, 1940, to Thomas and Dorothy Allen in Memphis, TN. Jo managed Pets Inn Grooming Shoppe in Germantown for many years before her retirement. She had a love for dogs like no other, especially her beloved Clumber Spaniels. Over the years, Jo attended numerous professional dog shows, where she took great pride in showing her spaniels. When she wasn't busy training or spending time with her dogs, Jo could often be found enjoying a good bowl of soup or indulging in one of her favorite sweet treats, Dinstuhl’s Raspberry Cream Chocolates. She also had a love for gardening and found joy in tending to her plants and flowers. Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Goldstein and her son, David Cook, and daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Cook. She is survived by her two children, Robert “Larry” Cook (Sherry), Kelley Jo Cook, and her sister, Ann Keifer. Jo also leaves behind three grandchildren, Robert William Cook, Geoffrey Cook (Mya), and Jeremy Anderson Cook.
