Dorothy Virginia Sullivan

Dorothy Virginia Stephens Sullivan passed on to her heavenly home on September 22, 2015. She lived in the Watson-Ingrams Mill area of north, MS., and was a lifelong member of Emory Independent Methodist Church. She graduated from Byhalia High School in 1952. She worked as a bookkeeper, school bus driver, mail carrier and finally a cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Ned Stephens, her brother, Andrew Lee Stephens, and her husband, Robert Neil “Buddy” Sullivan. “MawMaw Dot” leaves behind her four daughters; Cindy (Barry) Wilson, Robin (Jeff) Cox, Jenny (Michael) Liles and Kerry (Gary) Russom; as well as nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many beloved extended family members and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 am all at Emory Independent Methodist Church,, 872 Watson Road, Byhalia, MS, In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to Emory Independent Methodist Church, Emory Cemetery or Methodist Hospice (PO Box 42048, Memphis, TN 38174).
